Thunder on the Hill

Sister Mary Bonaventure (Claudette Colbert), Mother Superior of a convent in Norfolk, England, presides over a troubled hospital ward. Convicted murderer Valerie Carns (Ann Blyth) is stranded in the convent during a torrential rain, and Sister Mary begins to suspect Valerie's innocence. As Sister Mary investigates, she uncovers a web of deceit and corruption that leads to the arrest of Dr. Edward Jeffreys (Robert Douglas), the doctor who convicted Valerie of poisoning her brother. Through her faith and determination, Sister Mary restores Valerie's innocence and brings justice to the real killer.
