Tora-San's Cherished Mother

The film "Tora-san's Cherished Mother" (1969) follows Kuruma Torajiro ("Tora") as he embarks on a journey to meet his birthmother, Okiku, after having a dream about it at the beginning of the film. Tora meets his old English teacher's son, Natsuko, and later visits his mother, who is working at a hotel in Kyoto, but their reunion ends abruptly due to her harsh treatment. Eventually, Tora finds solace with Natsuko again, and the two grow closer, leading to a heartwarming conclusion where Natsuko and Dr. Fujimura find each other and eventually get married, with Tora attending their honeymoon.
