Ride the Pink Horse

Lucky Gagin (Robert Montgomery), an army veteran, travels to San Pablo in New Mexico during Fiesta time to avenge his wartime buddy's death. He plans to blackmail Frank Hugo, a mobster, but instead finds himself entangled with Pila, a mysterious woman who becomes his unlikely ally. As Gagin navigates the town's underworld, he faces off against toughs and FBI agent Bill Retz, who tries to convince him to drop his plot for revenge.
