One Way Passage

A terminally ill woman and a debonair murderer, each unaware of the other's dark secret, meet and fall in love on a trans-Pacific crossing aboard an ocean liner bound for San Francisco. As they spend a month together, their romance blossoms amidst the shipboard antics of con artists, pickpockets, and shipboard romances. Without knowing the truth about each other, they surrender to their feelings, but fate threatens to tear them apart as they face the realities of Dan's past and Joan's mortality.
