Only Two Can Play

Only Two Can Play is a 1962 British comedy film about John Lewis, a poorly paid and professionally frustrated librarian (Peter Sellers), who becomes embroiled in an affair with the wife of a local councillor, Liz (Mai Zetterling). As their relationship deepens, Lewis realizes he's trapped and must break free from Liz's grasp. Meanwhile, his long-suffering wife Jean (Virginia Maskell) tries to keep him grounded.
