Raymond Huntley
Biography
Horace Raymond Huntley was an English actor who appeared in dozens of British films from the 1930s to the 1970s and later became well-known on television as Sir Geoffrey Dillon in LWT's popular drama series Upstairs, Downstairs. He made his stage debut at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1922 and went on to play iconic roles such as Count Dracula and appeared in numerous West End productions. Huntley's dry wit was often exploited for comedic effect, making him a staple of British films and television. He died in 1990.
